EXHIBITION OF THE NOISE SKETCHES.
Idea and concept: Knut Remond in cooperation with Mark C. Jackman.
It perhaps begins, or at least centers around a local event which is currently referred to as Godwaffle Noise Pancakes at which the Brutal Sound Effects Festival (an event within the event) occasionally occurs. Godwaffle Noise Pancakes happens about every two weeks, donations requested, but no one turned away, coffee and vegan waffles are served free of charge, usually Saturdays or Sundays, and most often from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm. Performers range from local Bay Area artists to international folks who are on tour. The more interesting artists seem to get invited to perform in the Brutal Sound Effects Festivals. Brutal Sound Effects Festival # 50 occurred on June 29th. I first heard / saw performances by and or met Hans Grüsel's Krankenkabinet, Head Boggle and Sharkiface in relation to these Godwaffle Noise Pancakes event. One of the two Rubber (0) Cement creators has been the main coordinator of these events and a very major instigator of much of the Bay Area experimental music movement in the last 2 decades or more.

James Rodenborn a/k/a Kasper a/k/a Amphibious Gestures
introduced himself to me at an Einstürzende Neubauten concert in 1993. We became fast friends and he has been assisting in skozey fetisch performances and recording ever since. He is a prolific visual artist as well as a sound artist, the visual work seems to have an emphasis on painting and assemblages

As I understand it, Hans Grüsel's Krankenkabinet is an accomplished professional audio engineer and producer, when not performing his compositions. He has numerous available releases multiple media formats.
Derek Gedalecia, Head Boggle is self described as "project is a culmination of diverging unsound musical and accidental pursuits by one Derek Gedalecia." He studied Classical and Ragtime piano under noted Ragtime Revivalist Dr. Brian Dykstra. Considering his influences Derek cites "Bartok, Scott Joplin, and Morton Subotnick then add in Eno's Oblique Strategies, Andy Kaufman, and John Cage. It looks good and bad on paper."

The first I heard about irr. app. (ext.) was in a review by Frans de Waard in Vital Weekly (http://www.vitalweekly.net/)
for his 2003 CD Dust Pincher Appliances on the Crouton label out of Chicago, fascinated by the description written in the review, I contacted the label to purchase a copy. irr. app. (ext.) is Californian artist and musician Matthew Waldron. He has many highly sought after, limited edition CDR self releases and has recently garnered much official label support in Europe and America.

Ozmadawn are electronic, sci fi-chotic drone rock duo Dereck Donohue and Jonah Rust. Ozmadawn have been featured on a handful of compilation albums and recently self released the CDR album Rise Of The Moth on thier own Chambara Records label (http://www.discogs.com/release/1219200). Dereck Donohue conducts a solo project under the name Horseflesh (http://www.discogs.com/artist/Horseflesh) and is half of electronic black noise duo Perinium. Jonah Rust is being kept quite busy with his 1.5 week old daughter.
Rubber (0) Cement are electronic harsh noise from impending zero-tech future and have seen more than 10 CD and CDR releases in the 14+ years since formation.

Sharkiface utilizes live electronics, field recordings, various rare and homemade synthesizers & exotic sound generators to weave a soundscape of abstract pleasures. She also works with and or has worked with in Tarantism, Pigs in the Ground, Brantism (The Bran (..) Pos plus Tarantism) and Diatric Puds. A former member of Crack W.A.R, Hans Gruesels Kranken Kabinet, Replicock, she also enjoyed a brief stint in 16 Bitch Pile Up and was the organist for Caroliner from 2001-2006.

skozey fetisch is the occultronics, SuperFreaky, AvantNoise project of Mark C. Jackman. skozey fetisch has it's beginnings in musique concrète which was the direct result of years (1984-1992) of editing, producing and hosting experimental radio broadcasts for KRCL 90.9 FM in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1986 Jackman began studying Electronic Music at the University Of Utah in the laboratory of the late Dr. Vladimer Ussachevsky (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Ussachevsky). The name "skozey" was invented specifically for the project and has come to reference found objects which may be used as charms or fetishes, thus skozey fetisch. Jackman is also a visual artist creating the cover art for skozey fetisch releases and has been producing the (mostly) weekly podcast "between the vortex vendor beautiful" (http://between_the_vortex.podomatic.com/).
