Dariusz Mazurowski, born in Gda?sk on 20 October 1966, is a Polish composer, performer and producer of electroacoustic music, member of the Polish Society for Electroacoustic Music. As a teenager, he took lessons of piano for two years, but it was his entire formal musical education. As a composer and electronic music performer he is an autodidact.
After first experiments and early pieces, he spent the 90s mostly in Prague (Czech Republic), staying in touch with the local scene and learning about modern studio technology, recording techniques, tools and electronic music. He also composed here numerous electronic pieces.
In his music he combines traditional analog instruments with the sonic potential of digital technology and acoustic, microphone recordings.

He is also active as a visual artist (graphics, drawings, photography, animation), repeatedly exhibiting his works. Is known as a journalist also, publishing articles mainly devoted to contemporary music (of course including electronic), technical aspects of composing and performing electroacoustic music, studio technology etc.
Although devoted to electronic music, he used to claim that the finest sounds are still produced by the nature itself - such as forests or meadows...
