are an event series on 52 Sundays per year.
Using its special loudspeaker installation, 'ohrenhoch' presents compositions by renowned sound artists, from home and abroad, every Sunday throughout the whole year. These are works of electroacoustic music, acousmatic music, soundscapes, audio plays or field recordings - mostly premieres or first performances, specially created for ohrenhoch.
Each composition may be heard on each of two consecutive Sundays, continuously from 2 PM until 9 PM, played back as a loop by a CD- or mp3-Player.
It can also occur, that two different works of an artist are presented, one on each of two Sundays.
Listeners may enter 'ohrenhoch, the Noise Shop' anytime after 2 PM on Sundays without having to miss a beginning. The ohrenhoch-concept is in particular that the sounds can freely develop in their complexity within the space, there is effectively no beginning or end.
Occasionally there are events, presentations or exhibitions which run from Friday until Sunday in 'ohrenhoch, the Noise Shop'.
